At the Rimini Counseling Center, we offer pregnancy care services that support expectant mothers through every stage of this extraordinary journey, from conception to childbirth and throughout the first months of life for both mother and baby. Our team of professionals — including midwives, gynecologists, psychologists, and social workers — stands by women’s side to ensure attentive and continuous monitoring of pregnancy, addressing individual needs with expertise and sensitivity.

Prenatal care includes regular check-ups to monitor the health of both mother and baby, essential diagnostic tests, and specialized consultations for each trimester of pregnancy. Our approach is personalized, taking into account the needs of each woman and the characteristics of her pregnancy, offering a comprehensive service that promotes physical and emotional well-being.

The midwives organize childbirth preparation sessions in collaboration with family centers to help couples face the arrival of their baby with awareness and peace of mind.

Additionally, we offer home visits in specific cases during the postpartum period to support new mothers in the delicate time following childbirth.

Postpartum and Breastfeeding

This refers to the period of 30-40 days following the birth of the baby. It is a delicate phase of great transformation for the mother and the family. During the postpartum period, the Rimini Counseling Center offers support and guidance to the parent, with particular attention to breastfeeding and newborn care.

Postpartum Depression

The birth of a child is a moment of great joy, but it can also bring emotional and psychological challenges for the mother. Postpartum depression is a common condition that may arise in the first few months after childbirth, characterized by feelings of sadness, anxiety, fatigue, and difficulty bonding with the newborn.

Morphological Ultrasound

Morphological ultrasound is one of the most important screening tests during pregnancy. It is performed between the 19th and 21st weeks of gestation and aims to assess the vitality, anatomy, and development of the fetus, as well as to check the amount of amniotic fluid and the location of the placenta.

Obstetric Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a safe and non-invasive technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to visualize internal organs and, during pregnancy, the fetus. When the ultrasound waves pass through the tissues, they produce echoes that are transformed into images on the monitor.
